Chandrabhaga Temple of Jhalawar region is also called Chandramaulishwar Mahadeo Temple. Chandrabhaga temple, on the banks of river Chandrabhaga, is a splendid temple built in 7th century AD. Complexly carved pillars and arched walkways are good examples of temple architecture and art. It provides a very good example of temple architecture. The carved columns, the archways and the exquisite workmanship make this temple unique. During the Chandrabhaga fair crowds of people come to attend the fair every year on kartik purnima and visit the temple.

A historical place in jhalawar, enjoyed visiting there. The architecture is awesome. U'll be fatigue with photography. Very nice snaps are possible. There are a group of some temples situated about 1 mile from Jhalrapatan city on the banks of river Chandrabhaga. Some five or six of them are of ancient time, Main temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. During monsoon the river Chandrabhaga flows in full swing and many persons from the city come here for picnic. A must visit place.

The ChandraMoleshvar Mahadev Temple One of the earliest dated temples in Rajasthan, known as the Sitaleswara temple was founded in A.D. 689. The temple consists of a garbhagriha, a vestibule and a mukhamandapa. The hypostyle sabhamandapa is later by two centuries and is supported on twenty-six exquisitely carved pillars. The sanctum has prominent niche-shrines on the cardinal offsets. The podium-mouldings are bold and simple, the kalasa moulding being replaced by a band of lotus-scrolls. The pillars show vase-and-foliage motif. The temple is dedicated to lord Siva with Lakulisa shown as lalatabimba. Among other temples at the site are the Kalika Devi Temple, Mahadeva (Lakulisa) Temple, the Vishnu Temple and the Varaha Temple.Chandrabhaga Temples are situated on the banks of the river Chandrabhaga, about 7 km from Jhalawar. Built between 6th and 14th centuries these temples are classic examples of the art of the old days. The beautifully chiselled pillars and arch-shaped gateways depict the artistic excellence of the artisans of the bygone era. Thank You?
