★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best buffet in Kolkata in such pocket friendly price. We had a lunch buffet in Christmas week starting with a refreshing welcome drink. All the starters and desserts were just perfect. Especially I would like to mention about the chicken, prawn and fish kebabs which were awesome. In main course I would definitely mention about the butter paneer; it tasted heavenly. Also the fish preparation was too good. Desserts options were widely spread and truly mouth watering. The one thing they could improve is by introducing some live counters during festive seasons and providing a bit better servicing. The lunch buffet time starts from 12 noon and we reached there just about time, but had to wait for at least 20min to get everything in order. Apart from that, we truly had a great experience at the first place.

The restaurant serves Chinese and North-Indian cuisine and also seafood. The widespread buffet has both Chinese as well as North-Indian items. The starters including veg, chicken, fish and prawn kebabs can be grilled on the table itself. The starters are unlimited, and one can enjoy as much as kebabs as they wish. For main course there are veg/fish/chicken and mutton items. Dessert as ice creams, mousse and pastries are yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a good experience. Though they are offering buffet but limited options are available. Before main course they were asking for what we want to have in main course so they made that items for us. It felt like we ordered ala carte. Biriyani was not fresh.. Other food quality was was okay. In dessert only pastry were available. And finally after forcefully asking for ice cream they only provided that. I will not recommended for this restaurant for buffet. In kolkata there are so many good buffet restaurants are available. But not Charcoal Grill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many who would recommend their buffet. I actually prefer their tandoor stuffed squid and crab meat balls. Really never had these preparations anywhere else and they are definitely worthy of mention. Otherwise, all the kebabs are quite good and so are other indian preparations. This place lays an emphasis on fish items. Ask for their recommendations. I sure was not disappointed..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most vintage grill restaurant of Kolkata. This restaurant can accommodate 80-100 people at the same time. It is a perfect place for a small get together or office party. They maintain all hygiene in this pandemic time. The food is great in taste and quality of food good too. Their service is also good.
