Plus points -- authentic north-eastern food & pocket-friendly..
Also, this was my second visit just to have pork delicacies..
When hangry and in this area, head to The Chef..
P.S- You gotta follow the location for this particular gem as it's not prominently visible when you enter the alleys here..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scrumptious food at a steal! They have one of the best ribs I have ever had in Delhi and the momos are pretty darn good too. Thukpa can be mildly bland to some but you can always season it the way you want.
Their black bean sauce based dishes are pretty good too. You can also order non-alcoholic apple beer to go along the delicious food.
Only concern would be it's hard to find location and somewhat small seating area. But it's really, really worth it.
TLDR: Delicious food and won't burn a hole in your wallet.
Must try: the ribs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in an area where finding Pork dishes are a rare occurrence. I was excited when I visited my friends place in Safdarjung.
In Order to get something quick and filling we ordered from The Chef restaurant and it was definitely a delightful meal.
Pork momos, both steamed and fried! I happen to really love the filling. Again the momos are not juicy if you're expecting them to be that way but the filling itself is really nice.
Pork chowmein had a good quality of meat and good size pieces!
The spicy sauce we got was the one we get on the streets, a little diluted but apart from that I really enjoyed the meal.
So for something fast and filling or for budget friendly Quick bites options in Safdarjung, this place is not a bad option at all. ??
