★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, crabs and chicken are very good. Seating arrangement is good as well. Nearby Chilika otdc resort. A must stop if you are crab lover. Won’t recommend veg food there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been here first time with family and friends yesterday. Heard thousand of stories about this particular Dhaba from school days but never got a chance to visit this place.
Both veg and non-veg food was ordered. Veg food (a simple thali) was above average as expected because this Dhaba is famous for its non-veg dishes.
In non-veg, Prawn curry and Chicken was ordered and it was really very good. Family and friends liked the food very much.
The only strong drawback of this Dhaba is the level of hygiene being maintained here. Housekeeping personnel must be assigned to work continuously non-stop and clear the garbages. There was no handwashing liquid in the handwashing area. One more issue with this Dhaba is they prefer only cash payment as there's no card swiping machine and they were bit hesitant for Phone PE/GPay. But maybe the Dhaba owner don't care much about such things as his business is ongoing very very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience. The place has deteriorated like hell. There is no more hygiene and good hospitality available. The staffs are so rude and eager to pick up a fight with customers. The prawns were not cleaned nicely. The roti was very dry and cold like a chapped skin. Still the place is so much crowded . It's a very overhyped place. Do not visit this and spoil your mood during journeys.

The taste and the craze defines itself.
The Crab curry should be the one dish on your platter.
Price is bit high.

Very local dhaba in front of bustand. We ate local prawns and crab which were both distinct gravies and were delicious. Both were larger in size than we had eaten before in other coastal areas. Service was kind and helped us break the hard crab :D
Very reasonable price and you will find locals having scrumptious meals :D
Washroom is outside which is part of bustand. Seems like the only lunch option in the vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry to say but this place has lost its charm. The food's taste is getting lower day by day. It's not the same Chilika Dhaba anymore. Highly overrated in my point of view. There are other good roadside restaurants nearby.
I ordered a plate of Prawns & a Chicken Biryani last time. The prawns were okay types but Chicken Biryani was awful. I'm really upset with all the hype going around this Dhaba.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for sea food lovers. Authentic taste . Need to give some attention into cleanliness and crowd. We had ordered crab ,prawns curry ,chicken pakoda and rice. Chicken pakoda wasnt that great ,rest was mouth watering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After getting lots of recommendation from frenz we went to Chipka Dhaba to try their famous Non-Veg Good. We tried Mutton, Prawn & Crab.. Crab & Prawn was tasty. Both were medium sized & one plate was sufficient for two people. Only thing we didn't liked was d taste of Mutton. It was black colored n not tasty at all.
