★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided on the spur of the moment to have lunch here. Excellent food, fantastic service and a soothing ambience made it a delightful experience overall. How did I not know about this place before!
The hospitality offered was one of the finest I've experienced in Mumbai. The food was rich, delicious and the menu had excellent offerings! Would highly recommend this place. They've earned a patron in me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of food has deteriorated a lot. Ordered Hong Kong nutty chicken .. no nuts but lot of garlic pieces and gravy. The soup too was absolutely terrible. Change your delivery menu and improve on your food quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been quite a few times i have eaten here but the food is always delivered quickly and hot.this time we had the pepper chicken , prawn butter paper and veg garlic fried rice but the dish that stole the show was definitely coriander pot noodles it was tangy and salty and full of umami definitely suggest it. This restaurant is highly underated and needs more credit.

Food is amazing.
Parking limited.
staff is friendly and helpful.
Ambience is nicely done with proper china theme.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People are polite and helpful. Maybe understaffed. You have to try a little hard to get their attention. The chef definitely knows his job. I loved his sauces, but the food choice has been reduced from what it was earlier. I was rather disappointed to not find bacon wrapped prawns in the menu (one of my favourite at this place earlier). Whatever we ate was rather tasty and nice. The ambience is good, though a noisy private party in the adjoining room, without any door or separator was quite a let down at dinner. They will have to work a little harder to make the dinning experience worth the price. I think it has slightly fallen from its earlier class as a restaurant because of the current management not being as efficient? My guess! Overall very good...... Visit once and experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ China Gate Restau6 in Bandra on Waterfield Road is a very, very popular restaurant.
Even though it has lots of seating all round yet it is full during peak business hours.
We had Hot n Sour soup and Sweet Corn Chicken soup to start with and Crispy Chicken thread with noodles as appetiser and enjoyed thoroughly.
For the Main course we had steamed rice in lotus leaf and Lamb pieces in oyster sauce which was all right
Service and hospitality was excellent and a good outlet to visit again.

However the service is a bit slow... There is too much waiting time after every serving it's better to order in one go
1. Chicken dumpling and butter garlic prawns is a mussttttt try too yummy it's 8piece in one platter enough for 2 people. Price is a bit on higher side 500-800
2. Would not recommend Thai chicken satay..it is served with peanut butter sauce and the dish over all is not that pleasant
3. Malaysian Noodles is flat noodles we ordered chicken Manchurian gravy with it. It is a bit spicy and average in taste. If you are a flat noodles then you must try this
4. Minty melon for mocktail is a good choice and if you like dark chocolate then go for chocolate mousse
The food is priced a bit higher however if you are a Chinese food fan then this place is a must try
