The place was over crowded, hotels/ lodges/ guest houses/ Dharamshala charges were exorbitant; providing low grade services! Temple was crowded too. The place is good to visit during non peak/ non festive season. The Darshan is divine.

The temple is reached by climbing 620 steps.This temple has faclities of prasad timing 11.00 AM to 2 PM The chotila hill every distance of climbing good water and fan facilities.

It has steps which takes around 45 minutes to climb and they are steep. Its also believed that one should not stay there post sunset when temple is closed for people as Lion has been sighted in some instances which is also Devi's vehicle. Also lot of strange noises are heard from temple as Chamundi devi is a goddess similar to Mahakali devi, so dark forces are heard. Accessibility: Nearest airport is Rajkot and approximately 40 kms by a well connected highway. Nearest railway station is a small town called Than where most of the express trains stops enroute to Mumbai. You can also find auto to come here and they charge 400-600 rupees with distance being 25 kms. Accommodation: Many hotels and dharamshalas are available but may be full if dates are religiously important. Eat: Awesome food on highway with variety of North Indian, Gujarati , south indian and fast food. Rotis are dipped in butter and ghee. Food is cheap and tasty. Although good ambience may not be found. Must try Gujrati Thalia at lala raghuvanshi
