★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently attended a wedding reception party at Chowdhury House, Ballygunge hosted by our neighbour- Shri Shiben Dutta. It was a very well organised event & the arrangements were superb. Highly recommended. However; Im sharing one incident After returning from the party, my wife found one of her gold ear rings missing. I called up our host & informed & asked that if by any chance they can find it. Losing all hope as she might have lost in in transit from the venue back home were feeling dejected. To our surprise next day our host came with the ring & informed that the staff at Chowdhury House had found & returned the ring. Im really thankful to the host & Chowdhury House management & entire staff for reinstating that honesty is still alive. I sincerely appreciate and lost for words on how we can thank them .

It has a pretty ambient Open space and can accomodate nearly 500 Individuals .
It has Parking Facility with good quality Asset and Designed for Multipurpous , Fully Air Conditioned .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chowdhury house is a good banquet,the location is good.although this is not only used for wedding it is also used for other functions.the toilets are good.the hall is not much large but enough for weddings and other functions also there is an open area outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just hosted my sister's wedding at Chowdhury House. Everything was perfect. We took the top floor, which is an open air area. The decoration was so classy! The lighting, the flowers, the soft shanai music, all of it pointed to a gorgeous affair. The mandap was extremely nicely prepared. The area bordering the open air area was well air conditioned as were the halls. Despite hosting 200 people on a hot April evening, no one felt hot and bothered.
The staff at Chowdhury House are extremely competent. They ensured that our every need was catered to. We took 3 rooms there where the family could rest and the rooms were all well equipped and perfect for the occasion.
Now let me come to the food. Our wedding dinner was provided by ACA Caterers and they did a splendid job! Each item was so tasty and so well served. Special mention to be made of the fish fry and the daab chingri! The veg items were equally tasty. We had a large number of vegetarian guests who praised the food just as much.
Finally, a big thanks to Mr. Choudhury, the owner, who was personally overseeing the preparations that day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was lovely to attend my uncle's reception at Chowdhury house..entire hospitality along with catering services, ambience were too good. But in my view they need to focus on cleanliness of washroom area during ongoing event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near to the main road, little costly but a great place to host any large scale function e.g. Marriages, Office Parties. The staff is too good, well trained and they provide their own catering services. There are changing rooms and rest rooms , clean and spacious. The banquet hall is quite large, divided into two parts , one for dining and the other for gatherings. Has 3 gates, each gate opens into a different banquet hall, so as to accomodate multiple clients at the same time.
