★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having heard of the Braille menu I visited this place also as part of the accessibility assessment and found that there indeed was braille menu available. The ambiance was great and the spacing was a bit close though not so tight although the prices were very steep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We people of 9 went to dine, the manager started creating issues for a table where 2 seats were going vacant.and loudly he started yelling and arguing with us
Seems like this pandemic has eliminated their sense of service and politeness and treatment of customers and the mangers regular staring at us and plotting with his staff made us feel very uncomfortable.
We have been visiting this restaurant since many years and never experienced this behavior. We were die hard fans of this place but this guys poor behaviour was sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had a very long association with Chungwa. I have been visiting it since 1994, since I arrived here. The restaurant though, was established way back in 1974. It is rare these days to find a restaurant that has managed to survive so long, in spite of changing trends. This is obviously because they have managed to keep the same standard over the years.
It is a more of a family restaurant and you will not find a young hip crowd here because it is not a fad restaurant offering gimmicks to attract such a clientele. It offers a quiet and elegant dining experience with close friends and family, as well as business lunches with clients.
Food has always been excellent and certain dishes like their sliced honey chicken sizzler are exquisite. They also have a well stocked bar. Service is exceptional, and the quiet ambience of the place allows you to savor your food while enjoying the company of your friends and loved ones.

Old traditions and flavours carried across a generation.
My family's favorite Hukkoo soup from the Defence Colony days lives on as Mizutaki Soup. A huge steamboat soup the can be a meal on its own.
A chance conversation this evening brought back vivid memories and I just had to have it for dinner and ordered a delivery which was efficiently packed and delivered by the courteous staff !
Lovely evening. I will sleep well tonight !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second visit here and really had a delightful experience. Wanna experience some authentic Chinese food this place won't disappoint you. Quality food, Quiet Ambience friendly staff. Tsing Hoi, Thai yellow curry, some desserts(as posted) were really good. Will visit again♥️
