★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for best Extra virgin Oil Colavita is the thing fr you...For the best taste in Evoo the basic packaging requirement of dark glass bottle us fulfilled by Colavita...n the taste is mildly sweet with bitter aftertaste(when u taste it by itself) which the oil is extracted with superior olives with cold pressed technique......it just uplifts the taste of dishes.....❤❤❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first discovered Colavita EVOO in 1998 when I first started experimenting with cooking, and since then it’s been a staple in my kitchen for Continental and ofcourse Italian cooking. I love it for its aromatic and nutty flavor. It’s a luscious and luxurious kinda of oil, that elevates any dish to a new level.
We love drizzling it over our steamed veggies, soups, salads, shallow frying, finishing off on crostini’s, pizza & pasta with a generous portion, making herbed oils with EVOO, and ofcourse cooking with it as it can withstand high temperatures without loosing its aroma and nutrients. My son enjoys eating a good French baguette dipped (more like dunking) in Colavita EVOO as a snack....and now even the 5 year old loves eating her toasted bread the same way!! Another way I love to use EVOO is when I am baking certain cakes, it imparts a smooth, velvety and fruity/nutty flavor to the baked goodies, and makes its a bit more healthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic olive oils , a staple in our home and use a lot of their 5 liter tins.
I regularly use their extra virgin version for my salad dressings, breads, pizzas, drizzle on pasta sauces. Just lifts the food to the next level.
The regular olive I use for sauté vegetables, pasta sauces, even Desi style vegetables.
Their Truffle flavor EVOO is heavenly!!!!
We love their pastas too , great quality and delicious taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Colavita products are so consistent in their quality that they have become essentials in my kitchen. The Olive oil variety for cooking and salads is superlative. The vinegars, especially the balsamic is a class apart. Not to forgot the excellent quality of the pastas! We are loving the range of these products immensely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The olive oil seems decent quality but it is unclear if the glass bottle is packaged in the EU (where there are more robust mechanisms to check for olive oil adulteration) or is repackaged in India. The labels do not say. Taste wise - Olitalia remains my favourite brand within IND and Colavita's second.
However, Colavita India has pathetic customer support. One of the pasta packets was torn and I took photos and emailed their customer support AND called the number on the website in parallel (and the person asked me to email details - which I confirmed I had already done). More than a week has passed - no response or even acknowledging the email. Applause!
