★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thecollege of agriculture, Bhawanipatna was established here during 2012_13. The then chief minister Sri Naveen Patnaik laid its foundation stone. This is functioning as a branch of Odisha University for Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar. At present it has the branch of B.Sc.Agriculture. In future it is planned to open another 2/3 branches. The students from western and southern Odisha are benefited by this institution.
