★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netaji National Institute for Consumer Education under Consumer Affairs Department of West Bengal State Govt. Consumer Rights and other related to consumers are concern with the Institute. There is class rooms seminar Hall, guest rooms, hostel facility in the Institute.
Consumer affair office is in it. Staffs are helpful.
Office of the Asst. Controler of Legal Metrology, Hooghly District and
Office of the Legal Metrology Officer of Hooghly Sadar sub division and Chandannagore sub Division is also whitin the building.
The stage of its own is with a good stage, lighting, sound system and viewers sitting arrangement. Chair are very comfortable and AC is powerful. Sometimes it is ranted to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Office is very good. It is near to service jetty. It is on the bank of river Ganga (near Jora Ghat). Direct view from building hostels room to the Ganga. Sunrise is fantastic to see. Two inspector of legal metrology (ILM) are posted here. This department is very effective and efficient. Two departments are existing there. Department of Legal Metrology and consumer protection & fair business practice.
