★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convent of Jesus and Mary is one of the oldest institutions in Ranaghat. This school consists of several experienced teachers. Many students have passed out with over 95%, what else can define excellence. Other than studies,CJM students have excelled in sports and other activities. But there's one star missing. Let me justify my reasons for that:
Biased marking system, I hope that some readers can get the clear image of it!
There is a slight degradation in discipline in past few years.
But other than that, it's an awesome place to study??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment is focused on nurturing a competitive personality among the students while at the junior levels it is of learning new things and is really fun, there's not so much pressure at Junior levels but when you reach high school one can feel the pressure (though it's totally obvious). Overall as it's a Convent school if one talks about discipline there's no doubt about it with endless parade of rules and regulations with following a strict institutionalized code of conduct may sound a bit bleak but it'll yield personalities(Gentleman and Ladies) necessary for this modern world...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Day by day, the respect and glory of our school is detoriating, right in front of our eyes. Partiality on marks, looks and wealth can be seen heavily nowadays and kids doing much more than they should for their "age". I didn't went to school much but still going to give 3 stars for some small memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's admit it, feeling proud to be the student of the first batch of this school.The only Convent school in the entire Nadia district and also one of the good convent schools in West Bengal. The school had its affiliation for ICSE initially and the first batch of ICSE passed out in the year 2006. Later on,got affiliation for ISCE. The only thing the administration and the school authorities should seriously take care of is the congestion created by the school buses and e-rickshaws on the nh-34,that hinders movement of traffic. That should be taken care of immediately.
