Cookbook cafe is one of the top rated restaurants at patna and certainly lives upto its name. Some nice options on the menu here that one might not find at any other cafe in Patna. Apart from the regulars we had sticky rice with minced chicken in chilli basil sauce and it was awesome! The ambience is quite nice and they have impressive interiors. Good food but price is a bit on the higher side.

Yes, if you are rich and looking for fancy food items with great ambiance then the cookbook cafe is the place for you. I went with my mom and the first thing which I thoroughly liked about the place was the decoration and the light, so good for the eyes. An absolute beauty with great materialistic design. Now comes the food part. We ordered: 1. Smoked Chicken Pizza 2. Chilly Garlic Prawns 3. Drums of Heaven Yes, we ended up enjoying the starter only. Apart from the ambiance, one thing which caught our attraction was the placard where it mentioned 'We don't take TIP' and for me, it took a few seconds to digest. Honestly, the food was yum and especially we took the risk of ordering Prawns which I think in most of the Patna's restaurants are not good enough or even cook enough to eat but here in cookbook cafe, the taste was deadly delicious. Even the drums of heaven were tasty like anything. Now comes the billing part. In cookbook cafe, they don't have the concept of the paper menu which is good and they will provide you a scanner page, where you just need to scan the QR code and order from there. When the bill arrived, I was utter calm that there will be no TIP giving process. BUT, here comes the twist. As usual, they charge for SGST(2.5%), CGST(2.5%), and Service Charge of 5%. Yes, that's the game. I am not sure about the reason but this 5% equals the CGST and SGST together. With this only, I got little disappointment with the place. I hope in the future, either they will remove it or reduce it but 5% is a big number for the service charge. And I am not even sure, whether the hotels/restaurants should charge an extra service charge, for the fact that they already taking CGST and SGST. To conclude, the food was amazing, the same goes for the place but for me, it was expensive excluding the extra service charge they took.

One proud fact about this cafe for every patnaite is that, this is the first cookbook cafe of India and world's 6th. The service , ambience, food (quality as well as quantity) is top notch. You can also get to see live music on weekends by the budding artists. One less star just because for menu you need to scan the bar code, but you can't order through that. After that waiter will write the order in the paper. Needs some technical work on this

5 stars just for the vibe of this place. It feels lively & positive. The staffs are so customer friendly. The decor is unique and really wonderful throughout the cafe. Now coming to the food - menu has a lot of variety & the taste is perfect as well. You gotta try their pizzas. I just felt that it was slightly overpriced. Overall it was a wonderful experience & I'll be looking forward to visit again with my friends.

If you are looking for amazing ambience and absolutely delicious food this place should be on top of your list. I loved the food here. It's delicious and very well presented. The menu is diverse and yet all dishes are upto expectations in taste. An absolute bang for buck. I especially loved the thin crust chicken pizza here and would strongly recommend it. The service is equally prompt. The place gives good vibes with an appealing ambience. There is a seperate smoking room inside. Parking should not be an issue as lots of space is available at the ground floor. All in all an absolutely amazing place with delicious food, appealing ambience and prompt service.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service and the vintage theme of the place made me visit this twice in a same week?? Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
