Interns will get lunch from canteen at last, ie after everybody's lunch time(2 '0 ' clock). But you will get costly food from private canteen.

Attended Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2018 State Level Camp on 20/01/19. Saturday and Sunday is holiday there. Participants came from 16 districts of WB and Andaman and Nikobar Islands. Authorities left no stone unturned to make the participants and parents feel at home. Parking allowed inside. Canteen was closed. Nice gardening all around. State of the art Meghnad Saha auditorium is a real asset. However for hands on they took the participants to Jadavpur Vidyapith nearby. Overall good experience.

Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute(CGCRI), Kolkata, is one of the best National research institute under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. This institute Established in 1950 it focuses on the area of glass, refractories, mica and ceramic etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their behaviour and response regarding testing of any material is really disappointing. One forced to think when will the time come when these institutions who are siphoning off our hard earned tax money would start functioning. Government must start monitoring these labs and start performance system there as well. We need these lab to function for progress of our country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the best institute with many good working instruments. Technical staff and scientists working with SEM, TEM ,XRD etc are one of the finest in India. There are many knowledgeable scientists plus technical staff also. Choose your guide wisely before going into research and you are the winner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it. A large building. With photos of many Bengali alumnis like Ramanujan ,Jagadish Chandra Bose and others tied along the wall of second floor. There also a collection of different types of optical fibres for show purpose on that floor
