Few year back their is court complex of kapurthala distic which is transferred to newly built building. During the time of the kings this building is the court of maharaja kapurthala till up to independence. It is bad to see that building is not well maintained by the government's after the
independence after independence kapurthala is known as Paris of india but due to corruption and bad polices all historical building are almost reuind and in very bad condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was once palace of Maharaja Jagatjit Singh .It is a big building .In the center of the building there is a big Hall where Maharaja organized his court. The material used in the building is marvlous .The roofs and floors are made of lumber that control the temperature of the building. Due to use of lumber it remained cool in summer and warm in winter.
A few years ago it was headquarter of kapurthala administration. All the Government offices were situated here. Which now have been shifted in new judicial complex.
