β β β β β Horrible place to get your Aadhaar details updated. The owner doesn't feel he needs to explain the process beforehand to any paying customer.
Firstly, he won't mention before paying that he'd have to take you to a bank or post office to actually get the updation done. Nothing is done at this place itself.
Secondly, where you can get your demographic details updated for Rs 50, he'd charge you Rs 350. And for biometrics too, he'd charge you Rs 450 instead of Rs 100, as has been notified in the official UIDAI website.
You'd better get done your updation and even enrollment at ASK, Sector V Salt Lake. The whole process would just take you 30 min there on the day you've got the appointment.
Thirdly, the images here are misleading. The office is small and dimly lit, and there is just one person handling it all.
The owner here is very rude, and called us names when we wanted to get our money back because of the tedious process here. He seems to be emotionally challenged too, and said he'd call cops on us, as though getting a refund is a criminal offence.
Get your updation done at ASK Salt Lake. Most of the CSCs around Kolkata provide an abysmal service, and it's worse in the suburbs.
