This has been established for the purpose of delivering Many usable items in lesser price to defence personnel throughout the country. There are 35 CSD Depot all across the country. Punjab has 3 CSD Depot situated in Jalandhar , Bathinda and Pathankot. Well jalandhar depot is a good place to buy electronic items cheaper then market price through Canteen Cards which are made available for the Government employees by the Government of India. Many other items can be purchased also. Place is clean and under full security. Nobody can go there prior to permission. It is not a place to visit for everyone. Only authorized personal can go there. Parking is available inside the depot. Working staff is helpful and hardworking.
