About Jamia Educational and welfare Society

Jamia educational and welfare society is the core platform for corporate social responsibility of ZAITOON FOUNDATION. It is an initiative to further the cause of the underprivileged by applying the most appropriate interventions in the areas of education, healthcare, economic, empowerment, and socio-cultural, reforms.

Jamia is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing quality education to children in slums and interior villages since 12 years in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. and Uttarakhand. We train local educators (especially females) and recruit them to teach children which in turn produces employment for women and make them independent. While working the underprivileged children, we realized these children specifically girls dropout school after class 8th or 10th due to the lack of resources. So we set up free coaching centers to provide coaching for secondary and senior secondary classes so that they can clear their exams with decent percentages and attain their dreams, we further assist these pass outs in getting admission in colleges and offer them scholarships too. In a nutshell, at Jamia we strive to hold the hand of ones in the need from lowest level and take them to highest level Apart from education we primarily focus on skill development of the women belonging to the slums and villages making them self sufficient and capable of earning their own money. So far at the Jamia, we have provided optimum health facilities to the one in need including regular health checkup for kids as well as poor women. So far we have helped over hundreds of kids ,students and women and we don’t intend to stop. Our aim is to support sustainable development in health, nutrition and education of child, adolescent and women in need in our district. We believe that every child should be given wings to accomplish his/her goals and every women should be made independent. Our little push and support can brighten their future by mission Parwaaz.

INTRODUCTION TO MISSION PARWAAZ

Chief architect of mission Parwaaz is Nauman Ahmad Jamaie. who hails from (U.P.) and the director of ZAITOON FOUNDATION. A Adeeb Muallim equal to (B.Ed.) from the Jamia urdu aligarh Muslim University, Mr. Nauman Ahmad believes that for the nation to truly progress, all its citizens must possess opportunities for quality education. Uttar Pradesh the most populous state of India is also one of the most educationally and economically backward. Muslims constitute around 20% of UP’s population and are also the most disadvantaged. So, Mr. Nauman Ahmad decided to focus on uplifting the educational and economic conditions of the disadvantaged communities especially the Muslims and Dalits of U.P. and North India. To achieve this aim, he initiated and ambitious project named “Mission Parwaaz” The Parwaaz aims at improving the condition educational Institutions, establishing more schools, Colleges, ITIs, etc.along with the facilitation of educational, health, livelihood and entrepreneurship support projects. So Jamia has established three educational Institutions for this purpose. So that the students can got the heights by Parwaaz in their life

ZAITOON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

DAR-U-TTALEEM WASSANAH

Zaitoon International Academy (ZIA) established by Zaitoon Foundation is mandated to support Hafiz-e- Quraan ( many of whom are from disadvantaged families) to get qualitative higher secondary general (school) education. There are thousands of youth who after their completion of hifz have no avenues for higher education that leads to aspirational careers. ZIA Aims at opening avenues of qualitative higher education for Huffaz. Concurrently, it will ensure that not only their Hafza remains strong but they acquire Islamic education and upbringing under the guidance of Mufti-e- karam and Ulamas.They continue to lead Taraveeh and bee Imam and Khateeb along with pursuing an exemplary career in Medicine, Engineering, Management, Law, etc.

DTS Public School established by Jamia educational and welfare society in 2008 to support children belonging to nomad community . Large number of families lives on rent and by constructing small houses in the outskirts’ of cities and towns. Most of them migrate temporarily from one place to another living their children behind. Many of these children join schools but they experience different behavior from peer students belonging to different progressive communities also because of tier slow learning attitudes.

Madarsa Dar-U-ttaleem Wassanah established by Jamia educational and welfare society in 2008.The purpose of Dar-U-ttaleem Wassanah is to understand and read the Quran properly and end the evils spreading in the society and attract people for education and mark those who are unable to get education due to economic weakness.And along with this it also provides modern education.

Future Goal

Establishment of a Girls medical college  and charitable hospital for all communities for free of cost treatment.
