★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The flats are nice and spacious with great ventilation and lightning. However it lacks lift facility. The place not so big but is nice and calm. Market, Shopping Malls, Parks is in a very reachable distance, like you can take a walk to the place or auto, rickshaw, buses all are easily available at this place.The average time to reach each of these places is within 10 mins. If you want to go to Howrah station, then a mini bus naming Howrah-Mourigram departs from Tank No 13, which is 5 min walk from the colony, and pass from in front of the colony main gate. But during late night after 9.00, the frequency of the transportation facility decreases and one has to wait long or reserve the ride to reach the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly it was a treat to see the the new Guest House for Dvc Officials which was newly opened in Dvc Colony Campus in Salt Lake. The new guest house is located in a residential place, so the ambience around is very much peaceful as compared to the earlier Guest House located in BJ Block near 206 Bus Stand, which felt lively as it was located just beside the Main Road and anyone could get autos and cabs round the clock. However, you still can find auto and cabs at the New Guest House too. The interiors of the guest house is very impressive. The rooms are a bit small in size but are maintained in a good manner. The bathrooms were found equipped with geysers.The new furniture adds beauty to the rooms which have been designed in a customised manner according to all the rooms. Overall, I was very much satisfied with the place and I liked the place.
