★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mundka village have its historic root. As it’s name is derived from Mundika ie head. When Shri Krishna Bhagwan beheaded Shishipul using his Sudarshan Chakr in Mahabharata Katha. Shishupal beheaded head landed in a pond in Mundka, known by the name of Shishi Pal jhod(local word of a pond)which is in front of a Shiva Temple in Mundka known by the name of Shivalaya.Since then this Village was known as Mundika now have the improved name as Mundka.
Bhairav Bhagwan is kul Devta of this village. And people call Bhagwan Bhairav by the name of Dada Bhairu with love.And people from all over the world throunge this village to worship Bhagwan Bhairav.
Respected Ex Delhi Chief Minister Late Sh.Sahib Singh Verma is one of the known personality of this village. And many more other personalities to count.
