★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Road to Darbhanga is good. Airport is very small and crowded. Vehicles are not allowed inside the airport premise, so one has to leave the car on highway and walk with the luggage from there. Can be bit more hectic if u r with lots of luggage and kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Airport is small but is being managed very well by the security officers...rather passengers were not cooperating...It is good have direct air connectivity from Darbhanga to many parts of our country...all the negative reviews I read were for winter season, when due to poor visibility fights gets delayed...that is understandable...one should plan there travel considering every possibilities in mind...all the basic amenities are there...and in future it will be amongst the standard airport in India...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst airport of India. Very very small, super crowded and no facility at all. Passengers are not allowed to take vehicles inside. You have to carry all your luggage from the road to inside the airport by yourself. You can not take luggage cart inside the airport. Carry big big luggage in your hands only.
You have to wait outside for hours and hours because there is no waiting area inside. Even before getting in bus, you have to wait by sitting on plastic chairs. Plastic chairs! Can you imagine?
Modi hai to mumkin hai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qualifies to be the WORST airport in the world. Strong chance that you will miss your flight if you don't know wrestling, boxing and punching other passengers to reach the security check and departure gates.(This is if you don't faint in the queue because of being pushed from all around like in general boggy of long distance train)
Too small. The chaos and rush at the airport resembles that of the general coach of a train during festival rush.
There is only one conveyor for security check of multiple flights, so you have to stand in queue for 3 hours , muscle your way and wrestle with others to get the security check done.
The facilities, the less said the better -two dirty urinals for hundreds of waiting passengers. It's the most pathetic airport....No parking.
Use it only for artival...Never use for departures.
Not recommended for old people and patients because you will not be able to stand for hours, win the muscle fight to get the tray for security check and may get hurt in the wrestling and fistfight for smallest thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks to everyone who made it wonderful to see the Airport. This property was donated by Darbhanga Maharaj, for the Airforce and subsequent upon utility of the campus is done to ensure the domestic Airlines across the country.
The Airport is named as Kavi Kokil Vidyapati, who has an immense and unique love for the Mithilanchal region.
This Airport is less than half KM away from Dilli More Bus Stand and 4 Lane National Highway 57.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Airport is small but good but airlines have to take some action to improve services, like baggage scanning only one is operating, security check is taking to much time.
If two flight scheduled time of departure very close to each other definitely someone will miss his flight or flight will be delayed
Easily accessible by road, Airport staff is helpful. But the terminal is too crowded needs a bigger size hall. Wheelchairs are easily available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Darbhanga Airport is a very important airport in terms of convenience as it offers a lot of time-saving for various people such as nearby Nepal border people along with that the airport needs a lot of infrastructure development because the space inside the airport is very less which cause very hassle experience as the security check takes a lot of time, therefore, I recommend everyone to reach the airport before 2 hrs boarding so that you can have your all procedure before time.
