★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is located right outside of the Karjat railway station. They server Chinese and north Indian food. The restaurant has okayish ambience but food is affordable and tasty. Do try butter chicken and Chinese here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go to Karjat for a trek or for any work, do visit this restaurant. The owner is very friendly and helps you to pick dishes and answers all the questions politely. It is pocket friendly as well and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to frequently eat at Dattatraya when I was in a boarding school in Karjat. The restaurant was famous for its biryani so much so that people from Mumbai would come to eat here. But after the death of the Uncle in 2006 ,who managed and owned the restaurant the quality and taste of the food has declined to a point where I would suggest that eating at this restaurant would be a waste of money. I hope they make some changes soon because biryani at Dattatraya was a must if you ever found yourself in Karjat.

Taste is nice, Food is tasty and like home made, not much oily but tasty.
Price is also reasonable.
Place is small but sufficient.
Chinese is also available, which is also good.
Hotel is close to station, Hence if you are on karjat station and have Time between your next train, You can have your Lunch or Dinner here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a simple old joint for non veg in karjat , good gavti preparation, rice bakri, sol curry, all excellent.
Their old father's another joint is also there near by with same name only 4 tables and limited menu. Very taste. And little cheaper than this. Must visit. I always carry parcel to Mumbai without fail. Ojdi, beja, liver, kheema,etc.
