★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daulat Ram College is a women's college under University of Delhi that was founded in 1960. Originally called Pramila College, it was named Daulat Ram College after educationist Daulat Ram Gupta. In 1964 it was shifted to Patel Marg among other college campuses in North Campus. It is one of the best colleges of University of Delhi situated in North Campus. Its hostel is the best in Delhi University also it has its own kitchen garden. Daulat Ram College is awarded 'A' grade in the first cycle grading by the NAAC. Daulat Ram College has facilty of library, labrotory, computer lab ,seminar hall , ampitheatre( rangshala ) , college auditorium (Sadbhavna Bhawan) and medical aid room.
The college has 19 departments which offer undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science. Of the 19 departments 7 admit students for Master's level tutorial classes which supplements M.A. lecture classes held at the main arts faculty.
The college building which was constructed in the 1960s was further expanded to cater to the growing needs of the expanding college and the rising number of students. A block of tutorial rooms, a modern seminar hall and new class rooms and science laboratories for Physics, N.H.E. and Biochemistry were added with time. Computer laboratories with internet facilities for staff and students are now available. There are well equipped Wi-Fi enabled laboratories and lecture theatres/class rooms with LCD projectors in the College. The college has a well equipped fully air-conditioned library with over 80,000 titles and subscription to many journals with a computerized data base and access.
The college holds a leading position both in academics and sports. The college has acquired The Star College status from the Government of India and has acquired equipments and undergone training in curriculum updates.

Affiliated to the University of Delhi, the institute is also often referred to as DRC and is a women's college.Daulat Ram College offers UG and PG courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce and some of the popular courses offered by Daulat Ram include BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) in English and BA (Hons) in Economics, among others. Over 3,500 students enrolled currently enrolled at Daulat Ram College and the college is ranked 15 among various institutes for Arts and 7 for Science, 15 for Arts and 13 for Commerce by India Today 2020.

The institute also has a highly functional and active placement cell that provides placement opportunities to students on campus. During Daulat Ram College placements 2020, over 71 recruiters showed participation in the process and offered an average and highest CTC of Rs 4.75 LPA and Rs 12.02 LPA, respectively. Daulat Ram College also provides its students with all the basic facilities which include a library and reading room, laboratories, computer labs, an amphitheatre and a hostel facility. But, due to the high number of students enrolled, the hostels are provided only to meritorious students

It is also connected through DTC and Delhi Transit Bus service. College has very Good infrastructure and teaching facilities and have ample open green area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good college overall. Use the gate number 3 to enter. Outsiders mostly not allowed bring you valid ID . Infrastructure is not very great and mostly it's in building process. The lifts are operating now.

It was founded by educationist and philanthropist Shri Daulat Ram Gupta in 1960. It is located in the North Campus. The college provides education at Bachelor's as well as Master's levels. Daulat Ram College is an all-women college. It is ranked 26th across India by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020.
My personal recommendation. don't leave if you get admission. the faculties are amazing and the college gives very good exposure. My friend did her graduation from here and good a chance to do research in her graduation itself. she even got a chance to do internships with very famous organizations /institutions and got job in very good company!!
