★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lotsa butter makes even the ok things taste real good. The dosa is made on wood fire in the traditional format of the benne masala dosa offering.
The masala is white in colour and the dosa is crisp softened by the butter and the red masala lining is very thin but just enough to bring in a lot of spice and make the dosa hotter.
A once in a while.nice place to visit.
Good seating spaced out and a clean wash basin. Definitely a good place in its class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best house for Dosa in Bengaluru I admit. There is limited variety of dosa but all have their authentic taste. The star of the house 'Benne Masala Dosa' will make you go there often once eaten.
Including this, you have Masala Dosa, Open Butter Dosa, Khaali Dosa, Paddu and Butter Paddu in the menu with a unique style of coconut chutney as combination. All are available at affordable prices.
Surprising part they prepare Dosa using firewood which adds an extra taste I felt.
And they also have beverages where Chikmagaluru Filter Coffee is the star attractor.
I can say its one of the best breakfast place for Bengalurians who love Masala Dosa and Filter coffee.

Especially the ladies at the cash counter are super helpful in explaining which dose is which type, that in turn helps you decide in ordering the right one.
Hygiene - 5/5 - the person who cleans the table, is a consistent performer and dedicated in doing his duty. He himself is super clean so there's no doubt he'll leave any table untidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have given their best to recreate the current-day authentic version of the Davanagere Benne Dosae.
I am impressed with the fact that they use firewood to prepare dosaes. Ordered benne dosae, benne masale dosae and open dosae during my only visit to this eatery.
The taste was really nice enough to make you go to the place every time you’re passing through the area.
