★ ★ ★ ★ ★ रायपुर-बिलासपुर सड़क मार्ग पर सिगमा से 10 किमी की दूरी पर एक छोटा सा ग्राम है। यह कबीरपंथियों के आस्था का सबसे बड़ा केंद्र माना जाता है। कबीर साहब के सत्य, ज्ञान, तथा मानवतावादी सिंद्धांतों पर आधारित दामाखेड़ा में कबीर मठ की स्थापना 1903 में कबीरपंथ के 12वें गुरु अग्रनाम साहब ने दशहरा के शुभ अवसर पर की थी। तब से दामाखेड़ा कबीर पंथियों के तीर्थ स्थालों के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है।
मध्य प्रदेश के जिला उमरिया के अंतर्गत बांधवगढ़ निवासी संत धर्मदास, कबीर साहब के प्रमुख शिष्य थे। जिन्हें कबीर साहब ने अपना संपूर्ण आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान दिया और द्वितीय पुत्र मुक्तामणि नाम साहब को 42 पीढ़ी तक कबीर पंथ का प्रचार-प्रसार करने का आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया। इस तरह मुक्तामणि नाम साहब कबीरपंथ के प्रथम वंशगुरु कहलाए, जिन्होंने छत्तीसगढ़ के ग्राम कुटुमाल, जिला कोरबा को कबीर पंथ के प्रचार प्रसार के लिए कार्यक्षेत्र बनाया।
दामाखेड़ा में है कबीर आश्रम और समाधि मंदिर
छत्तीसगढ़ में कई स्थानों पर कबीर आश्रम हैं। लेकिन दामाखेड़ा का कबीर आश्रम बेहद पवित्र और प्रमुख माना जाता है। इसी आश्रम से सभी आश्रमों की गतिविधियां संचालित होती हैं। कबीर पंथ में चौका, आरती का बहुत महत्व है। यह गुरु पूजा विधान है। चौका-आरती भारत की प्राचीन परंपरा है। इसकी सभी गतिविधियां आश्रम से संचालित होती हैं। वहीं समाधि मंदिर में कबीर साहब की जीवनी को बड़े ही मनमोहक एवं कलात्मक ढंग से दीवारों में नक्काशी कर उकेरा गया है। कबीर साहब के प्रगट स्थल की जीवंत झांकी यहां पर श्रद्धालु देखने के लिए देशदुनिया से आते हैं। समाधि मंदिर के मध्य में वंशगुरु उग्रनाम एवं गुरु माताओं की समाधियां स्थित हैं साथ ही यहां पर कबीर पंथ के प्रथम वंश गुरु मुक्तामणि नाम साहब का मंदिर बना हुआ है। जिसके ठीक सामने कबीर पंथ का प्रतीक सफेद ध्वज संगमरमर के चबूतरे पर लहरा रहा है। श्रद्धालु यहां माथा टेकते हैं। पंथ और अनुयायियों की यह तीर्थ स्थली विश्व प्रसिद्ध है।
There is a small village at a distance of 10 km from Sigma on the Raipur-Bilaspur road. It is considered to be the biggest center of faith of the Kabirpanthis. The Kabir Math at Damakheda, based on the truth, wisdom, and humanistic principles of Kabir Sahib, was founded in 1903 by the 12th Guru of Kabirpanth on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Since then, Damakheda is famous as a pilgrimage site for the Kabir Panthis.
Sant Dharmadas, a resident of Bandhavgarh under district Umaria in Madhya Pradesh, was the chief disciple of Kabir Sahib. To whom Kabir Sahib gave his complete spiritual knowledge and blessed the second son Muktamani Naam Sahab to propagate the Kabir Panth for 42 generations. In this way, Muktamani Naam Sahib was called the first dynasty of Kabirpanth, who made the village Kutumal, District Korba of Chhattisgarh a field for propagating the Kabir Panth.
Kabir Ashram and Samadhi Temple in Damakheda
There are Kabir Ashrams in many places in Chhattisgarh. But the Kabir Ashram of Damakheda is considered very sacred and prominent. The activities of all the ashrams are conducted from this ashram. The Chauka, Aarti is of great importance in the Kabir Panth. This is the Guru Puja Vidhan. Chauka-aarti is an ancient tradition of India. All its activities are conducted from the ashram. At the same time, in the Samadhi temple, the biography of Kabir Sahib has been carved in the walls in a very adorable and artistic way. The lively tableau of Kabir Saheb's revealed site is visited by Deshdunia to see devotees here. In the middle of the Samadhi temple are the tomb of Vighinaguru Ugranam and Guru Mothers, as well as the temple of Guru Muktamani Naam Saheb, the first descendant of the Kabir Panth. In front of it, the white flag symbolizing the Kabir Panth is flying on the marble platform. Devotees pay obeisance here. This shrine of cult and followers is world famous.
