★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Junglemahal Zoological Park earlier known as Jhargram Zoo has been established as a Deer Park in the year 1980. It is situated at Khasjungle in Jhargram town. Junglemahal Zoological Park (deer park) will provide rewarding experience to the visitors about the wildlife of the region. It is the 'Showcase' of rich biodiversity of Lateritic eco-systems of the State of West Bengal. It is a great place for elders as well as for the kids.
Animals:
Deer is the main attraction here, we can see 3 types of deer here (Spotted deer, Barking deer, Sambar deer), besides the other animals are-
cheetah, nilgai, bear, hyena, fox, Indian wolf, fishing cat, Emu, peacock, vulture, hawk, monkey, Tortoise, turtle, various types of birds & snakes etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent zoo located near Jhargram, maybe a 15 minute drive from the city centre. The place is spread substantially which houses a good variety of birds, deer, some felines, reptiles etc. Maintenance can be worked on as there isn't much security either. Might be fun for children. Wish the animals were in better shape though. There aren't many places to grab something to eat nearby
