Deer Park Villa - New Delhi

Its a nice home-stay with excellent hosts. The Room, the restroom and home was clean and neat with all facilities and delicious home made food. Three major issues a) there is no board anywhere --even a tiny one saying its deer park villa so no one knows its the place and you also cant find it out yourself b)its in the middle of a residential colony so its a maze or roads with multiple approach roads-- i had two ola cabs cancelling on me as they couldn't locate the place. c) in the night after 11 they block most of the approach roads and my ola driver and me spent over 45 minutes to find the open roads as mot of the roads shown in google and ola are blocked. Tip. There is a golden lettered number of the property which was same as that in the address. There is a small speaker phone with multiple buttons next to it, press that and they will know you have reached and the gate is unlocked. If you are a tourist with your own car its a nice cozy place, but if you are a business traveler...too risky to keep up your schedules.

An excellent homely environment! While they have a highly friendly customer service, they also serve you a very delicious and clean food that you cannot easily find elsewhere in Delhi. We stayed in this place for 3 nights, but came here again before our flight at midnight to have our last dinner with them even after we'd checked out in the morning. I won't go elsewhere whenever I visit Delhi in the future.

It was my first time visiting India and the host made sure to answer all my questions prior to my arrival and during my entire stay. The breakfast was also very delicious and plentiful. Truly a five star host! The room was clean and quite, with bottled water and tea. Thanks for making my indian adventure so homely and seamless!

Awesome Stay, very welcoming, Clean, Quiet & indeed comfortable !! I am from Sikkim and was on a holiday trip to New Delhi.I stayed here for 6 nights. If you are looking for a very clean, functional and somewhat pretty b&b in south Delhi, you can't go wrong with Deer Park Villa. It's housed on more than 1 floors of a Safdarjang Enclave bunglow and my room had lovely large windows opening into a small balcony which made the room really bright , airy and pleasant. There is a common living room for all the guests and huge tree just opposite the house which makes the place interesting further. The best part about this place is the fresh and clean feel. It's a new place so almost spotless at the moment with nice white bed linen and towels .The bathroom was also spacious and pleasant. I hope they are able to maintain this quality even as the place gets old. Location is another plus - though I saw some reviews mentions about location but I would say that though it's 4 lanes inside ( 100 metres ) from the main road but that's blessing as that makes it a quiet and quaint place to spend your nights. I simply cannot justify telling you about Deer Park & District Parks here but they are huge green areas with a man made lake. It's a 5 minutes walk from Deer Park Villa to these 2 parks and this itself would make your stay at Deer Park Villa worthwhile. The owner Ajay is a sincere and friendly person who tried to make sure that our stay was comfortable and was always available on phone for any help or queries. The breakfast is good and filling and in additional to usual eggs and bread with butter and some preserves and instant coffee, one may even opt for an Indian breakfast and await for pleasant surprise. The nearby places are tennis stadium, whole lots of restaurants serving Indian, mughlai , north east India cuisine. I found a Korean restaurant "Gung The Palace", (1.4 kms ) in Green Park and I liked it a lot. In Hyatt Regency Hotel, less than 1.1 kms away, is cuisine catering to Italian, Japanese & Chinese. I tried at The CHINA KITCHEN and loved it. Overall it was a good experience for myself and we would definitely recommend anyone for their trip to Delhi....

This homestay is located in a very quiet locality with a good reach to the market for your basic needs. The Guptas are very hospitable folks and ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast is a good spread and primarily a vegetarian affair with eggs on request. Dinner or lunch is provided on request. Some of the guest rooms could be small in size. We had access to washing machine which was of great help. Overall a good stay.

Nice place for work out walks and good to be out in environmental friendly place.

We booked this house through Airbnb. Host was good,and co operative. Room was good too, valued for the cost I paid. But, breakfast was overpriced.
