Also, there are various cafes and restaurants too, apart from a couple of coffee places, of which Barista is highly recommended. It is extremely easy to reach via Delhi metro or using your private vehicle as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good market, with several bakeries and eating joints. However there are a lot of people hounding everyone for money. I understand poverty and other challenges but it's extremely agressive and uncomfortable.

As someone who lived there for over ten years I can only say that I hope it recovers.
Yes there are some iconic places still open - Kent's, 4s etc but multiple shops are shut.. Moets has gone for example. I entered the market after a few years and was shocked to see how empty it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be a decent market. It is hardly a market now as many shops have been replaced by restaurants.
Most of the visitors who come for the restaurants are not colony residents. Net result is lots of unwanted traffic in a residential colony. Total mess, Delhi style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something for everyone! Old school ..typical Delhi market which you find in every locality.Only difference being some of the best restaurants of South Delhi are found here.Also, there are shops selling all gourmet ingredients which you may not find so easily elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market has a variety of restuarant with varied cuisines like Chinese , North Indian and South Indian too. There are really good outlets like Kent, Col kebab, Sagar. There are a lot of grocery shops too where gifting baskets are also available . They also have Florist at one end with fresh flowers. There are also bakery like Defence Bakers which is popular for their bakery products. There is parking available .
