★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had bad experience with DCOP. I registered for Foundation course in April but due to lockdown they delayed the course dates. Even though gov opened everything in mid Aug, DCOP because of their business requirements kept it delaying for months but finally started in mid Oct. But in this time I had already shifted to Bangalore to work on full time basis. When I asked for refund under the circumstances, they gladly refused to provide the refund. I understand that it was mentioned that there will be no refunds at the start, but we all were under the impression that this will be completed by July. My upcoming shift to bangalore was already communicated to DCOP and all my plans were build under these assumptions. Now what I don't understand is why candidates has to suffer because of business decisions or these unfortunate circumstances. They are offering me an option to opt for this course anytime in future, but how can someone be sure of whats gonna happen say after three years.
In these times many companies have adopted the policy to show empathy towards their customers like cure fit, indiahikes and many others. But I didnt found that to be true with DCOP. They never try to understand the reasons. They were not trying to build the relationships, they were just trying to do the business. I have worked from MNC to Startups and I have never seen such indifference towards people. Policies are meant to govern the business not to restrict the consumers.

Insteading of encourging me about various fields ...i was told that only fashion and commercial photography has future and others are just hobby like wildlife photography
