Together We Do Make a Difference
In the last sixty years DCCW has touched the lives of over 200,000 under-privileged children in and around Delhi, through its programmes and services - providing a home for lost / abandoned children, medical care, nutrition, rehabilitation of special needs children, vocational training and facilitating education. This is no mean feat. It has only been made possible by partnering with people and institutions who believe they can bring about a change in the lives of these children, helping them achieve their potential and go on to lead productive lives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DCCW is also known as Palna, a suitable name because they truly are like a Palna for children who are either abandoned or are homeless.
It is located near Kashmiri gate and is easily accessible almost from any part of Delhi.
They have a good infrastructure in place for bringing up and educating such children. They are also having a play area and nannys who provide the love and care for kids.
The staff and officers are very cordial and helpful and are making a real difference in the life of such needy children.
We should make endeavour to help this organisation either through voluntary work or through donations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was adopted through Delhi counsel welfare. I was given to an American family. The father was not fully investigated from his past of first wife and kids. Whine he abused. And then abused me. They only did a check on my adopted mother and him. Never adopt from this agency. He hit me over and over. And now I'm 38 is still abusive emotionally. I had to walk away. I contacted his first family in UK a few years ago. Some of his kids won't ever go near him or want him around to this day. But my mother and step dad are the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overwhelmed to see abandoned children and Children with special needs of age 1 to 8 being taken care of so nicely here. We did a CSR activity in the Paalna orphanage and it felt great. The world really needs our help. The place is maintained with such cleanliness and children are being taken care of Nicely by attendants and teachers and doctors. Have a very nice and clean mess for in-house food. Aerated drinks are not allowed. You can always visit the place and donate things.

I love donating my kid's old toys and clothes here.
It brings such a peace of mind.
