Try the kacchi biryani if you can!

Situated on Lane No. 7 it's quite visible from the road. The owner of the restaurant is a chef himself hence the name.
The Chefs tables specialises in Kebabs and biryani. I tasted -
Kukuda chicken kebabs - Excellent appitizer with a smoky tandoor flavour. This was chicken kebab filled with minced chicken. Quite delicious in taste .
Cherman Verthada- Southern style prawns enriched with the Keralite flavours. I loved the fried taste of fried kadipatta and coconut chunks with the prawns. This was a chef special and was a showstopper indeed with both the taste and the quality of fresh prawn

Chicken Tikka Lazeez - This was more on the notes of butter chicken a heavy smooth gravy cooked North indian style. Was quite delicious and flavourful. Loved it
Rogan ghost - After tasting the chicken I was sure that this was gonna be damn good and it exceed my expectations in fact . One of the really good Rogan ghost that I've tasted till date.
Awadhi mutton Biryani - " Tareef kare kya uski jisne tumhe banaya" A chef special that was really amazing. The first aroma of the biryani talked oodles about it. A perfect ending to the amazing meal we had
All this was followed with a round of Gulab jamun that was nice and hot. Overall loved the food here. Small place with great food I can say. Also wen the owner is a chef, one can definitely expect all that passion in food right from the taste to the service aspect

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From now on, whenever I am in KP, this place is my going to be my go to place for kebabs and biryani.
The Kebabs that I really loved here are the Seekh Kebab and murg thandai Kebab. Both the dishes are medium spicy and extremely delectable. They are juicy and are served with green chutney.
I am also a seafood fan and really enjoyed the spicy prawns ghee roast. Fried with curry leaves and garnished with fried coconut, it does have a very exotic touch of flavouring.
The chef’s spl. Biryani is one of the best biryanis I have tried in a long time. The spices are perfectly blended to make it aromatic and very tasty. It’s not excessively oily but juicy enough to not make it dry. In short “perfect” .
