★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very nice place to visit along with your family or friends. It has a small waterfall and is surrounded by lush green forest. It also has a small Rocky Mountain, which you can climb on to get a scenic view of the waterfall. In the top, the water is stagnant before the falls and makes it a natural Rocky jacuzzi to just enjoy the rocks, water, birds chirping and lap of the nature. You can cook your food and enjoy the feast. The bath in the waterfall is worth to remember. Overall you spend a good times with your loved ones in this place and enjoy the calmness and eternal peace. No mobile networks are available, which adds on to the beauty of the nature to be enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Debjharan literally means waterfalls of the Gods.
This place is sorounded by natural beauties, waterfall itself isn't very massive but it's beautiful.
I appreciate the local authorities for well developing the place. Debjharan Dam is well built and its quite a scenic place to spend some time by the waterbody.
Another aspect which draw attention is the the pathway which is built upto the waterfall. It is well laid stone and concrete work which feels like part of nature and doesn't seem artificial.
Another note worthy point is the sand laid near the waterfall, I believe it was laid by the local body and is not naturally built at that place. However it is a very welcome step and fells so different. Almost feels like a beach at the foot of a waterfall.
One more thing which I couldn't help noticing is that, it's comparative cleanliness to other visiting places. It feels like it is been cleaned and maintained regularly.
We were also told about the hiking option available there but couldn't try it due to constraint of time. That will be a subject of some other time.

Best place to visit in outer Sambalpur.
You will love the ambience over there.
43km away from Sambalpur main town.
Must visit for a picnic! Less crowded place. You can play with the water stream, take a waterfall bath and can have many more experiences with pure-play nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is difficult to find as Google asks you to turn left and suddenly you find yourself between a petrol pump and hotel. But once you turn left a nice road comes in and suddenly the road become good and place is beautiful and awesome. Must visit with family and friends and you can have a small picnic there.. must visit !!!
