★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ministry of Human Resource Development is headed by Human Resource Development. MHRD has two Departments, Department of School Education & Literacy & Department of Higher Education both of which are located in Shastri Bhawan. Both Departments are headed by separate Secretaries who are assisted by Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Directors etc. DSE&L recently launched many programmes of which collection of student data in-sync with U-DISE is most important ones. It is trying developing a single database for the entire school education. Both SSA & RMSA programmes as well as MDM programme are being implemented by this Department. Most of the educational institutions such as NCERT, CBSE, KVS etc all comes under DSE&L. Higher & Technical education in the Country is being managed by Department of Higher Education of MHRD through UGC & AICTE. Some of the departments of Ministry of Human Resource Development, like NS & ES Divisions & Central Record Unit, Statistical Division/P & M etc are located in its R K Puram Office. Most of MHRDs other departments/divisions are located in Shastri Bhvan where HRM, Secretaries etc sit. All India Survey on Higher Education is also located in its R K Puram Office.
