★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did my Executive MBA (batch of 2011) from IIT Delhi DMS, when I was Asst Software Engineer at TCS , now Vice President at leading UK based Bank (RBS). Here, Faculty is A+ especially Professor Sushil, Prof Kanika Bahl, Prof V. Gautam, Prof Jain(Finance). Prof Harish Choudhary also gives excellent examples of real life corporate situations.
Campus is very large, however buildings are a bit too old now (kind of legacy stuff). Good academic and research infrastructure. Most of my batchmates have migrated from engineering roles to leading senior managerial, VP/Director/MD/CEO /Entrepreneur roles in Amazon, Facebook, Google , KPMG, EnY, PwC, Cedar Management Consulting, RBS/NatWest, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Accenture, Sapient, Citibank and PSU/Govt organisations like IAS, IAF, Defence forces, Planning Commission (Niti Aayog), DRDO, BHEL, ONGC, IOCL, TIFAC, etc. Fees is not too high either, as compared to other business schools.
I understand this is a public Business school and not a mall, however my only suggestion is that maintenance and renovation (interior and exterior infrastructure) of DMS building should be done more regularly.
Apart from that, overall a wonderful MBA , Ph.D & Executive MBA programme offered by DMS , at par with (and even better in RoI terms)with IIM A,B,C,L, and ISB, XLRI, FMS, MDI, IIFT, IIT Bombay-SOM.
Note:- IIT Delhi, DMS has one benefit over all other Business schools, i.e. some our elective courses for MBA and EMBA are jointly conducted with IIT B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD students which offers amazing diversity to the classroom. Thus, highly recommended for aspiring students.
