★ ★ ★ ★ ★ East kidwai Nagar used to be one of the seven central government residential colonies. This place used be a planned residential colony with a hell lot of greenery and biodiversity. What the central government did is that instead of just demolishing the old dilapidated buildings and constructing New ones they chopped down some 10000 off trees here and constructed ugly, poor quality flats and offices without evaluating the traffic , water supply, or pollution in delhi. This place is an absolute disaster. The construction company NBCC is full of criminals and crooks.

Tower 10,11 & 12 of Type 2 are handed over to Government employees on 03 Jul 2018 officially. It is 14 storey building equipped with CCTV cameras and security gaurds all were. It is very nearby INA market and metro. Parking is in basement. 50 percent construction will be finished by Jun 2019.

The project consists of Commercial as well as Residential towers and is spread across 80 acres. There are 4 nos of Commercial towers in which 2 nos are G+10 and 2 nos are G+4. 3 basements are there in each of the towers for underground parking. Apart from this, there are around 82 nos of residential towers consisting of around 5000 flats. The flats are of type 2, type 3, type 4, type 5, type 6 & type 7. Type 2 are the smallest ones and type 7 are the largest ones. Inside there will be large area of green land, plantation, local shopping complex, school, wide roads, cycle track etc. There are also 2 nos Sewage Treatment Plants inside the campus for purification of sewage water generated from toilets. The treated water shall be used for flushing and horticulture. The whole project abides by the GRIHA norms of Green Buildings and is being built on the concept of smart city as envisaged by Mr. Narendra Modi. Currently the project is in handing over stage and will take maximum one more year to complete. Some of the flats have been purchased by Government companies and rest of the flats will be handed over to the Ministry of Urban Development . Apart from East Kidwai Nagar, Nauroji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar redevelopment projects are also in order and will be executed by Nbcc only. Nearby there is also Dilli Haat which is so a tourist spot. The area is in the heart of South Delhi and is very centrally located.
