About Dhaba Estd 1986 Delhi, Connaught Place
Chef Ravi Saxena has developed his culinary skills over the past 21 years. After graduating from IHM Goa, he started his career as a Kitchen Trainee with The Leela in 1992. Soon after, he joined The Holiday Inn, Pune as second in command to the Executive Chef, to take responsibility for the kitchen right from its inception. However, not one to rest on his laurels, Chef Ravi then spent a year (1999) at Baisan International Hotel, Bahrain, with a versatile performance in Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Arabic and Continental cuisine. He followed this up with The Imperial, where he joined as a Junior Sous Chef, opened the Italian Restaurant ‘San Gimignano,’ and was later promoted to Executive Sous Chef in 2005. Skilful and recognized for his managerial abilities, he defines these experiences as a quest to gain more knowledge of his craft. β β β β β Visited this place with my family on Saturday night. Food tasted good both Vegetarian & Non-vegetarian but veg was ahead, Interiors were in classic bollywood style, washrooms weren't clean, table & cutlery Hygiene was good.
What made us disappointed was that it had "Bar" in its name only. They were not serving Liquor as their License is still under approval process. Suggest restaurant to please mention such status of liquor either on their websites/ Zomato apps or at time of taking the booking of a table.
Please maintain transparency.

β β β β β Worst and pathetic food ....tasted bad and stale. My family is having the feeling of vomiting from the moment we have eaten here and hope we don't get sick due to this. Good ambience will not make the food good. Also price does not justify the hype and food. Overall poor experience and would not recommend to go here

β β β β β The prices are overhyped. The taste is normal and rotis are from gas tandoor which are not properly cooked.
Tables are small and we're inconvenient to put all things there. We paid around 1800 but I wasn't satisfied with the food quality and quantity.

β β β β β What better thanΒ DhabaΒ for a real North Indian style treat!Β We recently visited their outlet in Connaught Place and the decor and ambience is so lively and colorful that it just lights up your mood and heart.
I got a personalized welcome with my table mentioning 'Ms Arora', it was such a sweet gesture. The interiors gave a lovely dhaba feel with truck pictures and other props around.
We tried an array of dishes from starters, main course and desserts. Difficult to choose what to try in starters we ordered before Veg and Non Veg Platter which had a yummy assortment. We enjoyed everything from Achaari Soya Chaap, Veg Galouti, Lal Mirch ka Paneer Tikka, Dhaba da Paneer Tikka, Palak Paneer ki Seekh, Galouti Kebab, Mutton Seekh, Murgh Malai Tikka, Highway Chicken Tikka and Amritsari Machhi. Loved everything!
For Mocktails we tried Anarkali, Shikanji, Aam Panna, Banta Cola. No one can beat the taste of Anarkali. That's my recommendation for sure!
Coming to the main course, our choice was Murgh Makhni, Aloo Gobhi, Dal Dhaba, Jeera Rice and Tiffin Paneer.
My recommendation would be Tiffin Paneer which won my heart with its taste and flavour.Β Roomali, Tandoori & Naan along with Boondi and Mix Veg Raita made our dinner even more yummy.
For desserts it was Phirni, Matka Kulfi and Ras Malai which we relished and can't forget the yummy paan which were presented so tastefully and was just amazing.
Be it kids and the old and the young it's a place for all to come and enjoy eating and relishing the yum food made and served with lots of love. Not for one minute the energy dies down in this place as it is so so lovely and a cheerful place to eat and when you go out your heart is fully satisfied with the ambience, hospitality and service and most important the smile on everybody's faces which brings another joy and adds to the magic of this place situated in the heart of CP.
Come here for a taste of Punjab with laughter, bursts and foodies who come together for the love of food and for the love for best things and taste in life the king size way.

β β β β β Review based on veg choices only. Decent food and fast service. They could do better with the seating comfort. Location is great and compared to peers prices seemed on the higher side for the quality.
Interiors are bright, loud and retro bollywood styled. The biggest table in the restaurant seemed reserved for the staff and management.
The staff did a great dance breakout.

β β β β β We booked Dhaba for lunch with large group on a Saturday. We arrived early and we got seated in separate area with good large glass windows. However, it got hot and there was no way to increase cooling. Food we ordered was tasty and served in Dhaba style. However, I have deducted one star for the poor service . At times I got a feeling that they want us to finish and move out quickly. May be, due to waiting. While we enjoyed our party at this place, I would also put in a suggestion to keep music volume appropriate for people to talk and enjoy their food.

β β β β β One place that keeps me bringing back to Dhaba is their amazing food and specially the balti meat which is their specialty and my favourite dish. I just enjoy having meals here be it anytime and anything. Itβs a great place for family get together and casual hangouts as well. Hope they always keep up the great work.
