★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's situated around 3.4 km. from the Balliguda Bus Stand & nearly 1.3 km from the NH 59. We can't call it as a dam, because there is not any river flows through it. It's just a valley dammed reservoir which is created in a valley among some little hills. Here u can see Landscape of hills. On the way you may cross the Dhabaleswar temple. This reservoir is a popular tourist attraction in the town for picnic spots and random day trips. You can get a spectacular view of sunset here. Serene water of the reservoir is a wonderful place for annual winter picnic. And it is not as big as Pila Salunki dam of Phulbani. But the region around Balliguda town has a variety of flora and fauna surrounded by hills.
