★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very holy & devotional place.. Many statues of goddess kali, god Shiva, Hanuman is here.. Very beautiful temple.. Also everyday "bhog" means cooked foods that are given to god as prasad is distributed from 12 pm to 2pm.. But for taking this you have to take a coupon from the temple office on the previous day..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the famous temples of South Kolkata. Other deities are also worshipped along with goddess Kali. Good management, nicely maintained clean premises. Daily puja and path/discussion on various religious aspects takes place. Several pujas are being arranged on different occasions. Calm and peaceful ambience. A good place for meditation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Kali Bari at about 10.30 today (21.10.2019) to donate some money for Kali puja. I was surprised to note that one person who was collecting money /cutting bills was smoking BIRI merely in side the temple premises next to the temple office. I came to from other people that he is one of the important member of the temple committee. Your rules and regulations applicable only for the general public, not for the Members of your committee. How he dare to smoke inside the premises of the temple in front of your guard (with temple dress)? Now God is not in this temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is at Dhakuria Bus Stand & it's a Hindu Temple. Many Hindu Deities are worshiped here everyday & this temple is open to all. This place is neat & clean and well maintained. This temple is open everyday in the year. Special Hindu rituals and ceremonies are performed here & not only that one can come here for medical issues as doctors are also appointed here for medical treatment. This place remains closed from 12 to 5 p.m. everyday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old Goddess Kali temple in Dhakuria. Various spiritual programs and kirtan take place here in regular intervals in the morning and evening. Inside the temple Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva idols are regularly worshipped here.
Usually it is close between 12 am to 4 PM. In a normal day large number of devotees come here.
