Dharma College of Education - Chhachhrauli

DHARAM Educational Trust was established to impart quality education in the areas of Technical, Management, Education etc. To achieve this objective, B.Ed Course is being started in DHARAM College of Education (DCE). There are 100 seats in this course at present. DCE has adequate physical facilities including buildings, labs, library, hostels and transport facilities etc. backed by qualified and highly experienced teaching faculty to produce result-oriented teachers of tomorrow. “DHARAM COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DCE” is situated near the twin city Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhri, a well known Brass and Plywood city, duly approved by National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana.
Dharam College of Education is situated at Panjeto, Haryana. It is established in 2008. The Dharam College of Education is run by Dharam Education Society, which is well known for excellence in education field.

The Dharam College of Education was established Under Society Registration Act - 1957.

Besides excellence in academic results, the institute is committed to ensure all round development of the students in every sphere of life.

Dharam College of Education were established according to the provisions of NPE 2000 to provide academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of the various strategies and programmes being undertaken in the areas of elementary and adult educations. Dharam College of Education are a part of a larger strategy to achieve national goals in the areas of elementary and adult education and function according to the needs of individual states and districts.

Pace-Setting Role

Pursuit of excellence would have to inform all activities of the Dharam College of Education, in which context it will have two inter-related aspects :

• Excellence in the Institute own work, and
• Helping the elementary and adult educations systems in the district, in achieving excellence.

In this context, Dharam College of Education will have a very important pace-setting role to play. They will be expected to become models for other educational institutions in the district in terms of meticulous, efficient and effective planning and execution of functions, harmonious and creative organizational climate, maintenance of a clean and attractive campus, etc.

Transactional Philosophy

A Dharam College of Education will have three main functions, viz.

• Training (both Pre-service and in-service)
• Resource support (extension/guidance, development of materials, aids, evaluations tools etc.)
• Action research
