★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The village Panchadarla is situated at a distance of about 10km North – East of Yelamanchili at the foot of the hill Phanigiri, a water spring emerges and is divided into five channels and this braught the name Panchadhara. There are three temples located in the village are Dharma Lingeswara Swamy Temple, Visweswara and Radha Madhava swamy temple. These temples were built by Chalukyas of Yelamanchili during 13th – 15th Century A.D.
The main deity of Panchadarala is Dharma Lingeswara and his congort is Mahisha Mardhini. A number of Votive linga, Mandapas, Kalyana, Natya Mandapa and Anantarala etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple is several centuries old. This temple was built by Eastern Chalukya Cholas in the 9th century. This temple has a great history. The temple has 5 natural water flows and they are called as pancha dharalu. So this place is also known as panchadharla. I think this place is the most underrated spiritual place. Archeology department and tourism department should have to focus on this place and they have develop this historical place. I wish this could happen very soon.
This is a very good place to visit.
Anyone who knows the history of this temple please share.

Just 10 kms north east of Yelamanchili and 24 kms from Anakapalli is Panchadarla as it derived its name from the five Jets of water coming out of five fountains which receive their supplies from a natural perennial spring. Nearby there is lingam on which are carved other lingams in 12 rows of 85 each and which is consequently known as the Kotilingam or Crore of lingams. There are several inscriptions on the pillars of the Mandapam in the temple and two of them dated in AD 1407 and 1428 contain a genealogy of chiefs who claimed Eastern Chalukya ancestry and bore the Eastern Chalukya titles of Sarvalokasraya and Vishnu Vardana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panchadarla is one of the ancient temple recognised by archeological department.
Lord shiva is being worshipped as Sri lalaita sahasra lingeswara and dharma lingeswara.
There 5 water flows which gives clean water 24/7 and 365 days. Nobody knows about the origin of that water source. People taking that holy water for drinking and taking bath (making the surroundings dirty with shampoo and soap wrappers.)
As per pujari, there is a snake which roams in the temple at night. We can find a separate chamber opposite to garbhalaya.
