You can stay here as a guest in this Palace/Hotel The palace is surrounded by trees ??? Very nature friendly.....

I came to visit the place as mentioned it is a heritage hotel and one of things to do in dhenkanal. There was no one at the reception and while we were waiting, the inexperienced care takers arrived and started verbally abusing us. There was no board saying the place is closed or under construction.

Dhenkanal Palace is the residence of the erstwhile Raja of Dhenkanal and his family.
S	Spandan Panda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has been beautifuly kept and its still under minor renovation. You can opt in for a 2 night stay which includes food as well. You will feel like staying in a huge palace the washrooms are size of a 1 bhk just like royal things. Iys basically a home stay where you will get to learn how royal people stays food was okay not upto the mark but yeah its a worth visit place.

S	Satyajit Das on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “It’s a beautiful and grand property with a kind heart and welcoming royal family as your host” It’s like the paintings you see from 1800-1950 era , it has its old world charm. It’s a huge property restored but every effort has been put to keep the originality intact. It’s not the palace turn hotel which is renovated by interior decorators. It’s a four level structure on a forest covered mountain slope and located within the city of Dhenkanal. It’s basically as true to its spirit as it can be, you can feel the heritage and old school romance everywhere. Let it be the Courtyard with Wood Apple tree, the antique wooden furnitures, it’s bright pastel yellow walls , ventilated and relic filled Verandas, grand sitting places or the pink flower wrapped lawns. The Royal Singh-deo family who owns and run this as a Homestay are a great friendly host. They leave no stones unturned to make your stay a comfortable one and gives you lot of tips to explore and enjoy your stay. They transport you to the old era with their stories and experiences with the palace. It comes from me as highly recommended, just keep a good full day to explore the property. You should not miss the experience this place has to offer in the pursuit of sightseeing. Briefly on the essentials, rooms are air-conditioned with all amenities you require. You get home made tasty food served in a grand dining hall.
