Comfort Food, Eclectic Decor and a Rustic Fashion Studio all rolled into one. Dhonk Cafe is the kind of place where time stops but the conversations never do. Nestled by the side of a busy road which passes through Sawai Madhopur, once you step in there is an instant disconnect from the world outside.
What's striking are the walls which are filled with literature and pictures of Tigers. Or you can just walk into the fashion studio filled with beautiful indigenously designed apparel for people of all ages.
Dhonk Cafe is a place to visit if you're ever nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dhonk Café should feature highly in your travel plans to Ranthambore, the Cafe is located next to Oberoi Vanyavilas near the main road. The Café is run by women of Mogiya community and they belong to the hunters community.
The main focus of Divya Khandal the owner is to shift the mindset of the community slowly and gradually by means of providing alternative livelihood for their families. They specialize in Block Painting on different types of clothes and linen. There is a workshop right behind the Café where the customers can get to see their work.
Get to know them better by visiting Dhonk Café Jamila Ji and Usha Ji will be more than happy to show you around.

Order was very late for us.
There were literally not available.
The person taking order got confused as to what the order was. Came 30 mins later to confirm whether it was cheese pizza or veg cheese pizza.
Cafe people are also not that professional at their job.
Mentioned items on the menu were also not available.
People who came after us were given the same dish that we order 15mins earlier than them.
If you have ample time to waste, then go here.

The interiors are done tastefully.
Service takes time so be patient but it's worth trying
You have a huge selection of books and in-house boutique that keeps u busy while you wait for your order to be served.
Must try Masala chai served in Cute little brass tea pot and pagodas.
