★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a student of DSS for the past 3 years now. I started off as a beginner and I knew literally nothing about LATIN DANCE STYLES. DSS introduced me to not just one but 7 different Latin styles. Today after 3 years of training under Nakul Sir, my confidence has boosted a lot and I have improved on a greater level. Not only Latin styles, but also I have been learning KATHAK for the past 7 months now. It has helped me alot to improve my body posture and core strength. The best part about DSS is that it doesn't just feel like regular classes, but we are a family looking after one another. Looking forward to learning a lot. Love Different Strokes Studio. <3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a pioneering dance school from where all other dance schools in thane and around have taken their dance training . it is the number one place for any dance style like Salsa , Bachata and Rueda Salsa The intresting Part Is that this school also imparts Professional Training In Indian Classical dance style Kathak .
PLEASE NOTE : If you want serious , authentic, Sincere and at the same time FUN Trainers Then This Is the Place to be.
Word Of caution : I had been to some nearby dance classes and had bad experience But when i came to Different Strokes Studio I came to know that those classes were run by same students who had done few months training from different strokes studio itself. So, be careful
This institute is more than 17 year old . IT IS THE BEST

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DSS is the ‘GO TO’ place for Latin dance forms, Kathak and several more.
A jovial ambience and all the dynamic trainers who are superb dancers pay attention to minute details and provide timely feedbacks which makes learning a very interesting and enjoyable experience.
The studio is fairly active in the social dancing sphere as well. They conduct several dance workshops through the year, social dance nights and performances.
Highly recommend ! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attented a free workshop of salsa and bachata and loved it.It inpired me to learn something new. It is a very good experience.DSS has the best instructors. They are very supportive. Its a lot of fun to learn a new dance form here. And not only the dance part, it has lot of workshops,salsa parties and alot of fun. So overall thanks to Dss for teaching me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Different strokes studio has always given away the best students in Thane! It is a pride to be associated with Nakul Ghanekar’s dance Academy for more than 7 years. The trainers here make sure that every student takes home at least one learning from each and every class they attend. Trainers’ sincerity towards teaching always inspires us to be like them.
During social nights/salsa parties I get a chance to dance with students from competitors’ dance school and things which I find distinctive in DSS students compared to others is discipline, knowledge, sincerity and respect! Although most of the other dance schools’ trainer are trained under DSS, they are not able to follow the tradition which Nakul has imbibed in us! Proud to be a DSSian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My journey with DSS has been long and special. I have seen this place grow from humble beginnings to the Dance institution that it is today housing many styles and mind blowing talent. It is simply the best place to learn if you aim at pursuing dance as passion and not just a passing whim to show-off. For any dance lover aspiring to learn the right way, few things that matter most are- great teachers with technical know-how, good infrastructure to practice (ergonomics and all), true to the form music and provision to explore more styles as a bonus. You will get all this in DSS then why look elsewhere!!! I returned to dancing post maternity break and the encouragement and help that I got from all the trainers especially Nakul was so heart warming that I was really overwhelmed. It is true for all students that had to part ways due to various reasons and now are back. Its not just business here its learning and fun!!

It has helped me grow as a person and also my personality has improved. Currently I am learning Salsa and Kathak online due to lockdown. There is always a very happy and healthy vibe around the classes and is a lot of fun ?
