★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dilli Haat is situated in the heart of South Delhi. It is a well-maintained open air market place with small shops/stalls manned by artisans from different states of India. Many of them are award winning and their stalls carry proud photos of them being felicitated by some government agency for outstanding craftsmanship.
It is a veritable treasure trove of ethnic, hand-crafted wares, be it cloth, clothes, tribal art, jute, food etc. Perfect for gifting or adding color to ones home.
Pricing here is reasonable though one should definitely bargain for a better rate.
Being out in the open on a Delhi summer day might not be a good idea but almost any other day of the season is delightful!
Food is available, variety is restricted as of now.
Washrooms are clean. ?
Visit for a beautiful outing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delhi haat, a shoppers paradise, you can enjoy bargain, I strongly recommend exploring this market place, encourage our local products and help handicraft industry. Food joints serve good food, best part is super connectivity by road or metro. Be vocal and buy local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place of handcraft market in the middle of the capital. You'll find variety of home decor items, wearing jewelries e.t.c which look aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but little over for your pocket.
The market is just besides the Delhi haat INA metro station. You need to buy a ticket to enter in the market from the ticket window situated at entry gate.
You can walk inside the market and also take the food in the eatery section. There are lots of options in food. You'll find restaurant of all the major states and cities of India.
Overall it's a nice place to spend time with your loved ones or walking alone if you are a craft lover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place to learn about the different cultures of all the Indian states and to learn about their traditional crafts and skills.
Each state has a stalls here selling their traditional art and craft products.
But the price is quite high specially compared to outside markets. For example a simple bamboo grocery bag that you can get at Rs100 in your local markets is priced at Rs 500 here.
You can also try traditional food of all the states as there are various restaurants selling their region's food. And the food is good too. It tastes nice and is also very hygienic.
But again the problem is price. The price here is almost 3 to 4 times higher than what you will get in other restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It feels like a traditional market with wares, food, and performances
When it comes to shopping in India, Delhi is the place. The city has a multitude of markets with a diverse array of handicrafts and other items from all over the country. The biggest and most renowned market, Dilli Haat, has been specifically set up by the government to provide a platform for artisans to come and sell their wares. It gives the feel of a traditional weekly village market (called a haat) and offers cultural performances and Indian cuisine as well. The concept is hugely popular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very happy going place. Full of lots of artists and their stalls with goodies. The whole area is packed with varied smells and aromas of the various states of India. Clothing, handicrafts, incense, books, footwear and various fancy items are displayed and on sale. One can go and buy authentic Indian handicrafts. The colour and vibes are so beautiful. Also they have food stalls, but be aware most of them don't serve their respective cuisines as advertised. So have a vigilant eye. There is a ticket of ₹30/- to get entry. And is accessible by the metro station. Very good place. A must for all those who love Indian arts and craftsmanship.
