★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty food for the most part. Calamari was not very good. Very hard. Overcooked?
Drinks were great. Could use more draft beer selection though. Food was very good (other than the calamari). Tourist prices though. Could be a bit cheaper. Came to about $100 for two people with drinks and an appetizer.
Overall, would recommend checking it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty Apron is located above The infamous Piano Man Jazz Bar and is managed by the same company. The vibe of this place is extremely warm and welcoming. It is usually full of Diplomats and Foreigners and is indeed the perfect place to nibble on some snacks before a night of heavy drinking or to binge eat after a night of heavy drinking. It serves a Fusion of many cuisines and does justice to each and everything on its menu because everything we ordered randomly from their menu actually had a priceless taste to it.
We ordered-
1. Teriyaki Chicken Quesadillas (Wholesome and Tasty Chicken cooked in teriyaki sauce and served between tender quesadillas) - Highly Recommended
2. Old Fashioned Mutton Chops- (Juicy and Soft Bread Crumb-Fried Mutton Chops, Quantity was inversely related to the price though)
3. Chicken Changezi Sliders- (Tender chicken in Changezi Dressing served between buns)- Highly Recommended.
4. Southern Fried Chicken Pizza- (Crispy Thin Crust pizza wood fried using the tastiest pizza sauce in its ingredients) Highly Recommended.
5. Peach Iced Tea for coolers
It gets an overall rating of 4.5/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a lovely place for a quiet meal in a fantastic ambience with soothing music and exciting food. The food is good to look at and the place leaves you feeling happy. Of course it's on the expensive side if you order drinks. But a must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Threw a small cocktail party for 15 people at Dirty Apron and had an amazing time, everything was just perfect. The service was impeccable, the food was tasty (especially the pesto pizza and churros), and the drinks were well made. Special thanks to Rahul and his team for taking special care of my guests with complete professionalism. Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the 2nd Floor of the Piano Man building. Let me start of by saying that this place serves great food! We tried the Beetroot salad, lamb puffs, pork belly, sea bass, wood - fired pizza ( with figs and prosciutto), churros and the mud cake. Apart from the mud cake which was really dry I’ll full marks to all the dishes! They have a good selection of wines and we had the Hemisferio 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Keep up the good work ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Safdarjung Market houses the very popular The Piano Man which was the first one to come up in the market and slowly the other cafes in the market started emerging. The Piano Man also offers Dirty Apron which is their experimental kitchen and located just above it.
The ambience here is a totally opposite to The Piano Man. Its bright and easy to the eyes with the natural light flowing in and the light colours used. Its interiors have a very rustic touch teleporting you to a Tuscan café in Italy. The hanging lights over each table look gorgeous and the seating options are very comfortable. They also have a balcony but that is only for smoking and has a standing option and does not offer any seating which is definitely a bummer.
Our lunch began with a hearty “Avocado Toast Platter” which had three different bruschetta with a common base of avocado paste and then one topped with spinach leaves and mango paste, one with cherry tomatoes and goat cheese and the last one with pickled veggies. These were easily the best bruschetta I’ve had in a very long time and truly heaven for avocado lovers. Post this, we ordered “Do-It-Yourself Tacos” which came in as a beautiful platter, had a bouquet of sauces, taco shells and red beans. It was fun to prepare the tacos as per our own preferences. The taste was great too.
Moving to the main course, constantly looking at their wood fired oven, we were enticed to order a wood fired pizza and it was just terrific. They were very accommodating and agreed for a half and half pizza with combining “Pizza Con Patata” and “Verdure”. Pizza Con Patata were basically potatoes on pizza which sounds very different and weird and that is the reason we went with it and were totally amazed by it. Could never have imagined that potatoes could work as topping on a pizza. Verdure had the usual toppings of broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers etc. We also ordered “Grilled Szechuan Tofu with Udon Noodles” which had huge pieces of grilled tofu with a base of spinach and udon noodles. The combination which was a bit on the spicier side was very healthy and again tasted fantastic.
The drinks accompanying our meal were “Orange Sunrise” and “Islander”. Both were very refreshing especially in the kind of heat, Delhi has started witnessing recently during the afternoons. The presentation was simple with nothing over the board.
We ended our meal with a “Blueberry Cheesecake” which was looked gorgeous and tasted pretty good too. Though we would have liked the biscuit base to be a bit more crispy. The blueberry sauce though was brilliant.
The service here was simply incredible. The stewards always had a smile on their face while serving us and the manager too was taking a keen interest in making sure his guests leave with a happy face. They were also open to customizations which is always a plus.
Overall, Dirty Apron at the Safdarjung Market offers a very pleasing and a peaceful environment which is in stark contrast to The Piano Man just below it which is known for pulling huge crowds and its famed Jazz nights. The rust ambience topped up with some lip smacking delicacies makes Dirty Apron a must visit. Highly Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very lovely cafe with a nicely curated menu. The music is amazing and they also have a TV which plays the live recoding of the performance happening at the Piano Man Jazz Club which is on the ground floor of the same building. The service is a little slow but extremely courteous. The food is good but not extraordinary.
