★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wish Discover had classes upto 10th. My daughter will graduate this year and I already feel sad that she will leave this school. In the 4 years of my daughter's life in Discover, I notice that the school focuses on the overall development of the child. All children are treated equally. Even small issues are discussed with great maturity. With this, we, as parents are always confident that our children are in safe hands always. Thank you Discover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most peaceful place for a child to develop into a mature, empathetic and a sensitive human being.. Being a discover parent, we have realized that giving your child time and space to grow is the best parenting mantra. The entire staff at discover created such a positive environment for our daughter that we didn't realize how three years just flew by... The school also taught us as parents to respect the child's eagerness to explore new things and be a part of his/ her learning. A lot of attention has been given to creating a child friendly atmosphere.. Kudos to Ms. Sumathi and her entire team and wishing them all the success for their future endeavors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fortunately or unfortunately we have had exposures to 4 different Montessori schools in Bangalore owing to the fact that we have been moving around from Jayanagar to Sarjapur Road to JP Nagar and we always wanted a school that would be close by. Both I and my wife were convinced with the idea that an activity based learning environment would be ideal for the unfettered development of our child. So we always felt that the Montessori teaching methodology would do a world of good to our daughter. However, I must admit that our experience hasn’t been the same in all the schools. We realized that simply branding a school as a Montessori and laying down the required infrastructure may not be a sufficient condition for the school to truly behave as a Montessori. For the school to truly function like a Montessori there has to be appropriate execution at the ground level and this can only happen if the people involved are adept and completely aligned with that concept. This is exactly where we felt Discover Montessori stood out from all others.
At Discover, we found a school that cared little about selling its brand or even selling the concept of Montessori. The idea here was simply to educate the parents so that they were fully aware of the learning environment they were choosing for their kid. The school is led by Sumathi Mam, an educationist, who is also a highly regarded voice in the space of Montessori education. While Sumathi Mam acts as the guiding force she also has a highly trained and dedicated body of teachers that completely understand the training methodology and offer freedom and space to the kids so that they learn and grow at their own pace. I don’t think we could have asked for anything more. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch our daughter learn, enjoy and grow in confidence under the able guidance of Discover. I wish the team success in all their future endeavors.

During my training period, I visited many schools and found that most of them, although they claimed to be Montessori schools, didn't follow the system completely, either they lacked the proper materials or were combining the Montessori methodology with regular teaching methods.
During one such visit, I found Discover and it is a true representation of what Maria Montessori envisioned. When you walk into the school, you know that a lot of love and thought has gone into the setup. The environment is very welcoming and I felt at home right from the start.
The time I spent at Discover proved to be a good professional experience for me. I learnt a lot from Sumathi ma'am who is a wonderful teacher and the experience helped me put my theory to practice.
