★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sir please its my humble request that you declare a holiday on ganesh chaturthi because every school is declaring that it's a regular working day this month because of independence day+ Janmashtami were on the same day and we couldn't get holiday on that day so kindly it's the request from all Jabalpur Students
BHOPAL: The state government, general administration department, has announced local holidays for the year 2017 for all government offices and institutions in the district. Local holiday will be observed on Rangpanchami (March 17), Ganesh Chaturthi (August 25) and second day of Deepawali (October 20). Local holiday on Bhopal gas tragedy memorial day (December 3) has not been announced separately as it would be falling on Sunday.
