★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diu Fort, the place where you see the great history and its story. One of the most iconic and also a historical place of DIU, but there is no facilities for visitors like guide, information desk, some good and clean washroom area and some importance of this fort. The local authorities must put some afforts regarding this issue, otherwise great place to visit for history lovers and also some good points for photography...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A MUST VISIT if you are in Diu. Though the fort itself is not in a very good condition & hardly maintains its original look, but the views it offers are spectacular. & It does give you a feel of a different time in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The enchanting fort commands a magnificent view of the sea, and a jetty constructed on the northwestern coast is still underused and was once used to trade with Cambay, Broach and Surat in Gujarat. The lighthouse that one can climb leads to the highest point on the island and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding.
Must visit this place, no ticket is required to visit this fort.

the fort is located on the sea shore and modifications and maintenance is done timely.
there were some chambers which are not at all maintained and closed for tourists to enter. and also some modern construction is there which degrade the og feels and chill vibes that the original fort design gives. they should build the new modified parts according to the old fort design only that will attract more and more tourists. also the cleanliness was there. people were also contributing to keep the fort clean from plastic and other things.
the safety measures are too less as some people were seen taking photos on the edge of fort wall which can lead them to death but no one was there to take care of this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to spend time be at day or at night.
One can enjoy the Light and sound show by paying Rs.30 at entrance of the fort gate. Although the movie experience could have been improved as most parts were inaudible.
During the day fort is most to enjoy ,preferably visit during weekdays and enjoy peaceful stay at places where you require more time to pose. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diu fort is one of the highly popular tourist places in Diu. You may spend couple of hours easily. It can be clearly visible that this place is not being properly maintained. There was no entry fee. Enough parking space is available right outside of this place.

It is covered by sea on 3 sides !
A very scenic place!
The cold breeze you get is just exceptional!
It is not maintained in the manner in which it is supposed to be !
There is no entre ticket as of now !
