★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's jungal safari in jypsy vehicle, full of mountain road, duration 3 hrs cost Rs 1950/- it's worth of paying. Time to report at booking point is morning 6 am ( trip till 9 am), then noon 3 pm ( till 6 pm). One can start Buldhana at 5 am book 6 am jungle safari, then after 9.30 am have breakfast at khamgaon then go to Gajananan Maharaj mandir shegaon and come back to Buldhana have dinner at Hotel Gurukripa veg. Give instructions for less spicy food. Enjoy your stay at urban residency....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best time to visit this place is during mansoon. It is close to Khamgaon. The forest is not very big but definitely it's beautiful . You often get to encounter tiger if you are lucky enough. They've have maintained this sanctuary very well in its own natural condition

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is quite amazing with dynamic biodiversity is Flora and fauna... The main attraction to the sanctuary is Leopard but it's difficult to make a sight with him.... One must visit this place to discover the landscape and biodiversity near Buldana...
I'll suggest the officials must discover some specific routes for Safari according to timelines such as morning, evening and night time...(it is done in Melghat Tiger Reserve) so the sightseeing will not go in vain...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dnyanganga Wildlife Sanctuary is situated 28 km from Buldhana and 20 km from Khamgaon town of Maharashtra. It is in Buldhana District, near the Dnyanganga River originated from Village Palaskhed Sapkal. There are two lakes within the 205 sq km sanctuary. Leopards, sloth bears, barking deer, blue bulls, spotted deer, hyenas, jungle cats and along with jackals give more attraction. About 150 species of birds are there. The ideal time to visit the sanctuary is throught the year. Wild animals are best sighted from February to May. The terrain is undulating, interspersed with hillocks having gentle slopes. Managed by the Office of Field Director- Melghat Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra Forest Department, The Sanctuary is a natural habitat for various animals and bird species of which many were seasonal that came from different parts of the country. Botha gate of Dnyanganga Wildlife Sanctuary is reachable by road from Khamgaon on the Khamgaon- Buldhana road. Shegaon is the nearest railway station, on Nagpur-Mumbai main line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place to visit for people who love to go site seeing of wild life. Variety of animals and birds can be spotted during the ride. We visited early morning, not so much of animals spotted. But seen variety of birds. For animals please refer some other timing. They have Jeep for travelling in premises. Overall good efforts taken for maintaining the place.
