For me, Doers was a package of happiness, learnings, skills, new experiences and what not!!! This is a professional environment where you can learn and improve yourself without any stress or pressure. Doers laughed with me, cried with me and definitely helped me to improve professionally as well as personally. ✨

It has been a great opportunity and great experience that Doers has given for my professional development and capacity building. I have even got an opportunity to be part of developing strategies for Post disaster event review in Himachal Pradesh. The working atmosphere of Doers is so friendly and warming that you recieve great hospitality there. Anyone who also loves travelling can associate with Doers as they also give us the opportunity to travel to different places of Himachal as part of their fieldwork as well as off the work,which is definitely important if you are interested in understanding the culture, geography and history of Himachal Pradesh and its beautiful landscape. Doers is such a place that we can be our better version every day. In professional as well as personal development. Thank you Doers for the month long life time experiences. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did internship in Doers for a month and honestly this is the best place for aspiring social workers. There is a lot you will learn from this place and a lot you could contribute. We didn't even know that one month passed. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. I wish more students - especially from social work background could experience the same. Doers is truly a family to me and I will definitely come back to this place. So much love to this NGO!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined Doers as an intern for one month on 19 November 2021 and it would be safe to say that this NGO is like no other. I will fall short of words if i come to describe my remarkable experience with Team Doers. The faculty of the NGO is outstanding in every aspect, from the knowledge that each member holds to the experiences they share, one cannot get enough of them!
Coming to my Internship, the amount of attention that was paid to each and every intern to make our experience absolutely distinguished and staggering was commendable. I have worked in some NGO’s in the past but i have never had an experience this fulfilling. Every person here lives like a family and takes care of each other.
The food that was provided was palatable and homely and the stay was also pretty decent. Great amount of attention was paid to even my very small needs as well which made me feel very happy and satisfied.
I consider myself full of gratitude to be able to get the opportunity to intern at Doers and have nothing but respect for Team Doers.

The perks of doing an internship at Doers is as follows:
The team of Doers that you work with is a space where you can learn many values and new things for sure.
Doers provide Basic life support and first aid training which is an essential skill that everyone should learn. Doers also provide training in emergency preparedness through gamified activities.
There is immense opportunity at Doers to learn about the key areas like disaster risk reduction, climate change and sustainable development.
The place and the people there, everything was a wholesome experience with handful of learnings.

But I haven't found any Organization like Doers where the Team ensures that every day you learn at least one new thing. The entire team of Doers is so updated in their field of Disaster Management as they keep themselves aware about all new techniques, tactics and you will find every team member part of some Academic Development courses.
The work environment of Doers is so incredible and each team member of the Doers family is so approachable.
Each day everyone gets involved in some activities, Sessions, discussions and you get to know about a new topic every day. Also, a Daily Deliberation is done every day to improve your Presentation, Speaking Skills, and knowledge about a relevant topic. Apart from the professional work environment, once you are in the NGO you will be part of the Doers family.
I learned a lot professionally and personally from the organization. I got an idea about the sector of Disaster Management and the necessity to develop Professional Skills in the changing World. If anyone is given an opportunity to be part of the organization, this is such a one-time experience you will have personally and Professionally and the memories you create at Doers would be for a lifetime.
